Useful origami: bookmarks, card holders, purses, napkin rings, photo frames, coasters and napkin folds. These models take a few minutes at most, and you then use them every day. Beginners will find several easy folds here, and the models folded from an A4 sheet or a paper napkin save you from cutting out squares.

Michael LaFosse's bookmark slips onto the corner of the page; a 7.5 cm square is enough. Larry Hart's photo frame is folded from an A4 sheet and holds a 10 × 15 cm photo. For the table, Rick Beech's napkin ring needs a strip 4 cm wide. A little more ambitious, the Moroccan purse calls for a square of about 30 cm in sturdy paper.
