Quill pen

The origami presented here is this quill pen created by Hoàng Tiến Quyết. It makes an elegant desk decoration, for example. It is not easy to fold, especially the nib (the "fountain pen" part), which requires complex folds in a small area. You may want to make a practice version with a larger sheet, a 20 cm square for example. If you want the round shape of the pen and the curves of the feather to hold, you can also make this model from foil paper (or, for those in the know, tissue foil), because it is a paper that does not unfold, just like kitchen aluminium foil.
