Flower box by Tomoko Fuse

Here we are presenting this flower box by Tomoko Fuse, which could make a gift idea (or a gift-wrapping idea!) for Mother's Day! It is a modular origami that needs 8 sheets, 4 for the box and 4 for the lid, all the same size (here I used 8 squares of 15 cm). As with any modular origami, it takes a little time to fold everything, but it is not too difficult a model. For the box, if your paper is a little stiff, cut off the first paper flap that is folded upwards in the video, otherwise you may have a lot of trouble sliding the units into one another during assembly. If your paper is quite thin, do as in the video. Happy folding!
