Gift box

Here is a quick and easy box, perfect for last-minute presents! It was designed by Robin Glynn. From a single square, this model makes a package that closes completely and locks without glue. You can use a square of any size. To give you an idea of the size of the finished model, if you use a 15 cm square like me in the video, you will get a box 5.3 cm wide and 2.7 cm high. The bigger your square, the better it is to use stiff paper so that the model is not too flimsy. You can use paper with a nice pattern, or keep it simple with plain paper and add a ribbon around your box.
