Flower egg cup

The video is hosted on YouTube: it only loads when you press Play.

Present your Easter eggs or your boiled eggs elegantly with these little flower egg cups designed by Kunihiko Kasahara. You will need fairly sturdy paper, because if it is too thin it will tear at the last step, when the flower is opened. For real eggs, you will need a 21 cm square. For smaller or larger eggs, adjust the size of the sheet accordingly. For example, for the sugar and chocolate gull eggs in the photo (yum!), which are about 4 cm tall, I used 10.5 cm squares.
