Christmas

Stars, snowflakes, baubles and trees to decorate the house and the tree. 41 models.

This is Christmas origami from the first star to the last ribbon: paper Christmas decorations for the tree, pouches to wrap your presents, and a few folds for the dinner table, such as the elf boot made from a napkin.

To begin, pick an easy model. The fir tree pendant needs three squares, some thread and a little glue, and children manage it very well. The octagonal star is folded from 8 squares of 7.5 cm. For a more elaborate origami star, try Endla Saar's Christmas star. The most patient folders can go all the way to Tomoko Fuse's Christmas dodecahedron, made from 12 sheets. A tip: metallic or two-coloured paper that is not too thin gives an instant festive look.

10 easy Christmas origami

Ten models rated easy, from the quickest to the longest. For the tree, three stars, a fir tree, a bell and a hanging pendant. For the table, a bottle collar and an elf boot napkin. And a paper Santa to finish. Nothing complicated: a bit of paper, some thread, and you are done.
