Flowers and plants

Roses, lilies, lotuses, tulips, orchids: these origami flowers are folded to decorate the house or to give, on their own or in a paper bouquet. The simplest take a few minutes; the most lifelike need patience.

To begin, the sakura is folded from 5 squares of 7.5 cm: it is easy, even though it is modular. The simple flower stem goes with several flowers on the site and lets you put a bouquet together. The Kawasaki rose is medium level: use a 15 cm square that is not too thin. Makoto Yamaguchi's gerbera is a difficult one. A tip from the poppy tutorial: always practise on scrap paper before folding your final model.
