Valentine's Day

Origami hearts, flowers and cards: everything you need to say I love you with a single sheet of paper. A hand-folded model, slipped into an envelope or left on a pillow, is worth as much as anything from a shop.

For a quick Valentine's Day card, Michel Grand's super-simple heart card is folded from a square of 15 to 20 cm, in a different colour on each side. Fumiaki Shingu's winged heart is very easy and can be folded from duo paper in any size you like. Another easy idea is Francis Ow's Valentine's Day card, folded from a rectangle cut from an A4 sheet. To give a bouquet that never wilts, try the Kawasaki rose, a medium-level model: take a square of 15 cm, not too thin.
