Cupid

To get ready for Valentine's Day, here is Cupid, the god of love, an origami model designed by Jun Maekawa. I added Fumiaki Shingu's winged heart; I think the two go well together!

Cupid is an intermediate-level fold. Taken individually, none of the folds is difficult, but taken as a whole the model still takes a while to make. You need an A4 sheet of thin paper. I tried making it from an 80 g/m² A4 sheet of printer paper and it was too thick! On the other hand, with kami (classic origami paper), it can be done with smaller sheets (A5 or even A6).
