Hello everyone! For our first origami of 2016, the Year of the Fire Monkey in the Chinese calendar, we invite you to fold this monkey head by Robin Glynn. Yes indeed, before long (on 8 February, to be precise) it will be Chinese New Year!
For this origami you will need a square of two-colour paper (duo paper) of at least 20 cm. It is an intermediate to advanced origami because of a few trickier folds. One difficulty is that some folds have no reference points. Depending on the variations you make at these steps, the shape of the monkey's face will vary.
