Starfish

This very beautiful sea creature was designed by Pasquale d'Auria. It is folded from a pentagon. I have not shown again how to fold a pentagon from a square, because the video is already quite long, but it is all explained in the Christmas star video. It is a fairly difficult origami, especially the three squash folds behind each arm, so it is best to start with a fairly large square, 20 cm for example. To get a single colour as in the photo, use paper that is the same colour on both sides; otherwise the centre of the star will be white (as in the video!)
