Model by Roman Diaz
Swan

Here is a very elegant model that I really like: Roman Diaz's swan. The origami is inflated at the end, which gives it a nice volume and good stability. As is often the case with this origamist's models, there is a precise reference point for almost every fold, which gives a neat result that is practically identical every time. The model starts with a lot of pre-creasing; then come a few tricky steps, but they use the creases you have already made, so follow the sequence of folds carefully and you should manage. Use a square of duo paper of 15 to 20 cm to fold it. Patterned papers give a really nice result!
