Easter

Rabbits, hens, baskets and egg cups: Easter origami is mostly about farmyard animals and small objects for the table. Several models are easy and are inflated like a water bomb, which children love.

To begin, Guillaume Denis's Easter hen is very simple. The hideaway rabbit can hold a small surprise, as long as it is not too thick. For the table, Kunihiko Kasahara's hen egg cup holds a boiled egg if you fold it from fairly stiff paper, or a chocolate egg for decoration. Lastly, the Easter basket can be filled with wood shavings and eggs. Use a square of at least 15 cm, and two-coloured paper if you want the reverse side to show on part of the basket.
