Cat

We are starting 2014 with a cat fold that I find rather nice. It is actually the first cat on this site. There are many different ones in origami, but I find it hard to find cute ones that are not too complicated at the same time (maybe I am just too demanding…). Anyway, I really like this one, which was designed by Toshie Takahama. It is fairly simple, and you can clearly recognise the silhouette of a cat arching its back. In the video I used a 21 cm square. It does not present any major difficulties apart from a few folds that have no precise reference point and will therefore have to be done by eye. Happy folding!
